Hi, I'm Valen!

I'm here to help you throughout your home buying and selling process. Trying to do it all on your own can be burdensome. I'll find you homes within your price range, help you find buyers, assist you with paperwork, and more.


My passion is helping people find their homes in Eddy County. I am a Licensed Real Estate Qualifying Broker at Empire Real Estate Group and am the listing agent for Clayton Homes Sunwest Subdivision. 

I served as vice president of the Carlsbad Board of Realtors in 2021, president in 2022 and 2023, and now as a director of the New Mexico Association of Realtors in 2024 and 2025. 

As a Carlsbad native and a 9-year real estate Agent, I recognize and appreciate the trust my clients place in her and strive every day to exceed their expectations. I was born and raised in Carlsbad NM and am very knowledgeable about her hometown. She currently serves as an Ambassador to Carlsbad’s Chamber of Commerce. I  continue with volunteer work at several organizations including Packs for Hunger. In 2022, I was recognized as Carlsbad’s 40 dynamic young leaders for both their occupational and community leadership! My husband and I contribute to many organizations yearly, including amNRA, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Mule Deer Foundation, FFA, Harding Webster, Boys and Girls Club, public schools, and several children’s sports organizations. I love to spend time with my two children. Valen’s husband Victor is a retired Captain from the Eddy County Sheriff’s office.

When I have spare time, she loves to bow hunt, try Pinterest projects, and do crafting. 

I strive every day to make a difference in the community I love so much, and joined the Chamber Ambassador Group to do just that!
